Red and Blue is a TCG NFT card blockchain game. The most direct way to understand the game is the Card description and the Battle system.
Let’s understand some basic elements of the cards in the game!
Not much to say, we will explain directly through a card.
The example we used to introduce card information today is “Thorn guard”.
If you are an old TCG player, I believe that you have understood up to 80% of the card information, but let’s take a look at the specific details.
From this information illustration, you can basically summarize the following key information:
Card name: The name of the card.
The card above is called Thorn guard. It is an ordinary unit in the game, but believe me, no character in the game is ordinary.
Card fee: The cost of releasing the card.
The Thorn guard in the legend requires 1 point of energy to be summoned, which you can afford in the early game.
Card type: The basic type of card. Thorn guard is a troop card, which is also the most numerous card type in the game. It is the most important and direct source of combat power in your game.
Content extension #1
The basic types of cards in Red and Blue are divided into: Troop (sword), Spell (lightning), Artifact (ring).
Card Element: the sub-type classification of the card. Thorn guard is a kind of plant troops in the game. Red and Blue will have its own independent world view setting. The game world has 4 elements and 12 races.
Content extension #2
Different from card types, Elements are more used to describe the race and attributes of the card itself in the game world.
-The Element of the troop card indicates the race and power of the troop.
-The Element of the magic card indicates the type and faction of the spell.
-The Element of the artifact card indicates the race and power of the artifact.
Attack: The damage that the card can cause when it directly attacks the enemy. As a frontline sentry, Thorn guard has an attack power of 0, which also means that he cannot directly cause damage to the enemy. (However, a card must not only pay attention to its attack power, but the following value also plays a decisive role.)
Defense: The upper limit of the damage value the card can resist. Or it can be understood as the life value we are used to. Thorn guard only has 1 point of defense here (Are you kidding, you can’t attack, and only have 1 point of defense?!). This is the charm of card games, not every card is an outstanding warrior on offense and defense. As a sentinel, “Thorn Sentinel” has more abilities that are not reflected in its body, which leads to our next explanation: Card Description.
Content extension #3
-Only the troop card has an attack. Spell cards and artifact cards do not attack. Whether they can cause damage depends entirely on their effects.
-Only the troop card has defense. After the troops are attacked, the defense of the card will be reduced, and the reduced value is equal to the attack received, and it will not be restored in the new round. If the defense is equal to 0, it means that the unit is destroyed.
-The spell card has no defense, and the spell card will disappear once it is used.
-Artifact cards have no defense and cannot be directly attacked. Artifacts can only be destroyed through effects. (Artifact is a very important strategic point in the game)
Card Description: The description of the effect that the card has. The description of Thorn guard is: Mockery: When you play a plant card, Thorn guard gets +1 defense (effective in all card zones). In other words, the more plant troops there are, the stronger our “thorn guard” will be! As for the specific meaning of these keywords, we will slowly introduce to you in the future, including what is Mockery and Card area.
Card quality: Indicates the rarity of the card.
Thorn guard is a card with a rarity of “Normal”, which is distinguished by the color of the badge in the middle below the card. We will announce more cards with higher rarity in the future, stay tuned!
Content extension #4
The rarity of cards in Red and Blue is divided into 5 types, from low to high, they are ordinary, excellent, sophisticated, epic and legend. The colors represented are white, green, blue, purple and orange. Card effects with high rarity will be more unique and powerful, and at the same time more difficult to obtain.
After reading today’s introduction, I think you can already get all the useful information from a card, so it’s the end of today’s introduction, and we look forward to sharing more information about “Red and Blue” with you in the future!
